Warranty & Protection

Every Glacier Glittered piece is individually handcrafted. Our limited warranty is designed to protect against defects in materials and workmanship while recognizing the natural variations that make each piece unique.

1. What does the Glacier Glittered warranty cover?

Glacier Glittered pieces are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use for one year from the original date of purchase. Because each piece is individually handcrafted, natural variations in color, texture, placement, and finish are part of its unique character and are not considered defects.

2. What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover accidental damage, breakage, chips, scratches, improper care, misuse, dishwasher use, soaking or submersion, extreme temperature changes, or normal wear. Damage resulting from failure to follow Glacier Glittered Care & Use instructions is also not covered.

3. How long does the Glacier Glittered warranty last?

The Glacier Glittered limited warranty lasts for one year from the original date of purchase and applies to the original purchaser.

4. What should I do if I believe my piece has a warranty defect?

Contact Glacier Glittered with your order information, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the piece and the area of concern. Please keep the piece and its packaging until the claim has been reviewed.

5. What happens if my warranty claim is approved?

At Glacier Glittered's discretion, an approved claim may be resolved through repair, replacement with the same or a comparable piece, or another appropriate remedy. Because pieces are handcrafted and may incorporate limited, natural, customer-provided, or provenance-specific materials, an exact replacement may not always be possible.

6. Are shipping costs covered for a warranty claim?

Glacier Glittered will provide instructions for an approved warranty return before anything is shipped. Do not return a piece without authorization. Responsibility for shipping costs will be determined as part of the claim review based on the circumstances of the approved claim.

7. Does the warranty cover custom or customer-provided materials?

The workmanship applied by Glacier Glittered is covered by the one-year limited warranty, subject to the exclusions on this page. Glacier Glittered cannot guarantee the inherent condition, composition, durability, availability, or exact replacement of customer-provided or naturally sourced materials, including water and other provenance elements.

8. Does the warranty cover normal variations in handcrafted pieces?

Normal handcrafted variations are not considered defects. Differences in color, texture, pattern, placement, bubbles, natural inclusions, stone or glass characteristics, and other small variations may occur and are part of the individuality of each handcrafted piece.

9. Is accidental breakage covered?

Accidental breakage is not covered by the standard one-year limited warranty. If Glacier Glittered offers an optional protection program for accidental damage, its separate terms, eligibility requirements, limits, and fees will apply.

10. Does the warranty replace the Care & Use instructions?

No. The Warranty & Protection policy and the Care & Use instructions work together. Following the Care & Use instructions is required to help preserve the piece and maintain warranty eligibility.

11. Are Glacier Glittered pieces guaranteed to remain unchanged over time?

No handcrafted decorative finish is completely immune to aging, environmental exposure, or normal wear. Proper care, storage, handling, and display conditions can help preserve the appearance and integrity of the piece. Normal aging or wear is not considered a defect.

12. Can a piece be repaired outside Glacier Glittered during the warranty period?

Unauthorized repairs, alterations, refinishing, or modifications may affect warranty coverage. Contact Glacier Glittered before attempting or arranging a repair if you believe the issue may be covered.

13. What information should I keep after purchase?

Keep your order confirmation or other proof of purchase, Certificate of Authenticity when provided, and any provenance documentation supplied with the piece. These materials can help identify the piece and support a future warranty inquiry.
